  When we build models, we apply standard evaluation metrics against a set of data that the model never sees. This set of data allows us to evaluate performance objectively. In addition, we have developed non-standard methods that apply directly to models created for fantasy sports.

  In this article, we present our 2019 projected points for Rookies. In general, playing time is extremely hard to predict so these rankings should be considered a measure of skill vs actual points. I'd try to draft the best players on this list that have a clear path to playing time.
