The Rams control their destiny for the #5 seed, which is huge, becuase it means their first playoff game would be against the Panthers or Bucs, a huge difference from having to play the Eagles to Bears in colder weather. So they will be motivated to play hard in this game. Plus, Matthew Stafford is going to want to put up big numbers to stay in control of the MVP race, after Drake Maye had a big day feasting on the JEts. I think the Rams are the best team in the league. Their 4 losses, all to playoff teams, have been a combined 14 points. And they've been kicking the crap of the weaker teams. The Falcons, they are a weak team. While they've had a couple of good games this season, they've generally gotten boat raced by good teams, most recently the Seahawks 3 weeks ago, 37-9. Now the Seahawks have a much better defense, so the Rams are going to have to up their game on that side of the bal. The key to the Rams success this season has been their offense. They have the #2 offense by yards per game, the #1 scoring offense, and the #2 passing offense. The Falcons defense is middle of the pack. The Falcon should get #1 WR Drake London back for this game, which will help their offense. The strength of the Atlanta offense is their rushing attached with Bijan Robinson, where they rank #8 in yards per game. Statistically, the Falcons have a slightly better defense, but I think this is incredibly biased by the strength of schedule of these 2 teams. The Rams have played the 4th hardest schedule, while the Falcons have the 4th easiest schedule. The Rams have had to face almost all the top 10 offenses; Seahawks twice (#2 scoring), Lions (#3), Colts (#7), Jaguars (#8), and 49ers twice (#9). That's half their games against top 10 offenses.
