This may be the least amount of action that I've had on a Super Bowl ever. I'll start with the side. This line has been Seahawks -4.5 since it opened. Based on the GridironAI models, that's spot on. The spread models have a slight edge to the Patriots at 53%, and the Team Total model projects the Seahawks winning by 4 points. I think the Seahawks will win this game, but it could be by 3-4 points, or it could be 6+. It's really hard to predict and I think the spread is right on the number. So many factors will impact this game. 1) Sam Darnold. Can he continue performing well, or will the clock strike minute and he turns back into a pumpkin? 2) Will the Patriots have a game plan to put up points against this elite Seahawks defense, when they have struggled against the other elite defenses in Houston and Denver? 3) Is Drake Maye's shoulder 100%? Like I said, I think the Seahawks win the game, but I can't lay the 4.5 points. I think the points spread is correct at 4.5, and that's why it hasn't moved. Now for the total. Both of these defenses are really good, top 10 in the league. Coupled with what is traditionally more conservative play calling early in Super Bowl games, and the GridironAI team scoring model projecting 40 points (22-18 Seahawks), my play is the Under 45.5.
